Ohio Chapter W-2 originally came into existence as Ohio Chapter W-1. The first gathering/meeting was held on Sunday, May 10, 1992 at the D. C. Ranch located in Perrysburg, Ohio. There was 101 people present at this first dinner of the new Chapter. At the actual meeting the number of people present swelled to 156 people in attendance for Chapter W-1's first meeting.
We were then renamed to Ohio Chapter W-2 in 1995. Due to problems occurring in the computer system in handling the extension -1 designation. All Ohio Chapter's having the 1 extension designation was changed to a 2 so that the system could handle the second pass through the Alphabet for Chapter names.
Donations from Chapters N, K, T-1, and C helped get the new chapter off to a good start. Other chapters that were in attendance were A, S, and E1 of Canada. We have 107 Charter Members in our Chapter, including the first ever Charter Members from Canada (Chapter E-1) in the USA.
